LeRoy Chuck C. CarlLeRoy Chuck C. Carl, age 67, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, died, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at his home. He was born in Elysburg, Pennsylvania on October 30, 1940 to Jacob and Bessie Carl. Chuck is a veteran of the United States Army. He was the past owner of Alexis Heating and Air Conditioning, working in the field for over 40 years before his retirement in 1998. Chuck enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his grandchildren and going home to Pennsylvania every chance he had.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jamie Carl.Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Margaret Carl, son, Andy (Julie) Carl, daughter, Dawn Pierson, grandchildren, Samantha Pierson, Kayla Pierson, Zoe Carl, Mira Carl, Bella Luna Carl, siblings, Nancy (Bob) Leiby, Lois Krumm, Dick (Lois) Carl, and sister-in-law, Carol Carl. He also leaves behind his favorite four-legged friend, Lindey. Friends and family may visit the H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Friday, August 29 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with funeral services held at 10:00 am on Saturday. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
