Leon Allen Jones also known by many as city was born July 8,1962 in Toledo Ohio.Leon graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School where he was an All Star athlete in football and basketball after leaving high school he began a career working with you first at the boys & girls club and then over 20 years with Toledo public schools. Even though he attended Stritch if you asked him he would say come on now you know me Once a Bulldog, a Always a Bulldog.Leon transitioned Saturday, May 6, 2023 in his home. He was preceded in death by his mother Lillian Beatrice Jones. He leaves behind his children, Daughters: Kahlihah and Sierra Jones, Son Jaren Jones; Grandchildren: Caiden and Chaise Battle, Jamiyah Jones- Woodson, Jaren Jones Jr., Jersey Jones and Karson Jones; Sisters: Marilyn (Aubrey)Jones, Robin (Carl) Alexander, Teresa Jones, and Ruth (Arthur) Looney-Jones; Brother: Ricky Jones,and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.Services are pending.
