Laura Lois Lapinske

Laura Lapinske, age 79, of Point Place, passed away, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St Annes Mercy Hospital. She was born March 22, 1933 in Lafayette, Tennessee, to George and Leffie Reed. Lois was married in 1951 to Ervin Lapinske. She was employed with the former Tiedtkes and Marathon Bowling Lanes before working for Kmart for several years, retiring in 1993. Lois enjoyed working in her garden and cooking. She also enjoyed going to garage sales. Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ervin Lapinske and her sons, Randy Lapinske and Rodney Lapinske, her siblings, John Reed, Grace Gammon, Printess Davis and Opal Tucholski.She is survived by her children; George (Cindi) Lapinske, Ervanna Watt and Vern (Terese) Lapinske, grandchildren, Kimmy, Nikki, Laura, Randee, Nick, Jake, Joey, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; her brother, Joseph (Rosemary) Reed, a special friend Judy Lapinske, and her four legged friends, Buffy, Sassy, Mr. Bentley, Tank, Captain and Buddy.Visitation for Lois will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home 3219 Tremainsville (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Wednesday, July11 from 2:00pm until 8:00 pm.
