Lara Jeanne Bethel

Lara Jeanne Bethel, 55, of Holland, passed away after courageously battling multiple illnesses over the years. She was born in Toledo to James and Jeanne (Glowski) Bethel on June 28, 1968. Her father was in the Army, so Lara and her brother had some big moves in their childhood. She lived in Georgia until the age of 12 and then spent 7 years in Germany where she graduated from Mannheim High School. After moving to the Toledo area, Lara began her career in the medical field as a nurse’s aide and then became an EEG Technician. Her favorite past times included reading and going to garage sales with her mother. Never pass up a good deal! She was a generous soul who adored her family, especially her nephews. Lara had a caring heart and loved her dog, Zoey.

She is survived by her brother, Matt (Becky) Bethel; nephews, Benjamin and Luke Bethel; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving parents.

Friends will be received on Saturday, April 13, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. at Holland Free Methodist Church, 66050 Angola Road, Holland, where the Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m. Lara will be laid to rest privately in Springfield Township Cemetery.
