Kris Lehmann, beloved father, husband, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on July 2nd, 2024. He was the son of Norman and Peggy Lehmann. He had one sister, Diana Sorosiak. He grew up in Toledo, OH and attended Whitmer High School, where he played football. He moved to Erie, MI with his loving wife, Patricia.Kris was a lover of world history and was apart of the 100th Ohio/116th Penna and Association of Living History Airshow group. He loved doing reenactments and collected war memorabilia. Kris had a deep love for music and attended many concerts. He always enjoyed going to the Promedica Concert series in the summer with Patty and his children. If Kris wasnt at a concert he enjoyed lounging in his chair and watching movies and sports. He was an avid Nascar, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State fan. All who knew him can attest that he had an irreverent sense of humor. His family always looked forward to seeing which funny shirt he would be wearing that day. Kris loved watching his daughters play sports. He rarely missed a game and could always be seen giving the swing away sign from the bleachers. Kris was the biggest cheerleader and would support anyone his family any way he could.Kris and Patricia met while working together and have been married for 17 years. The love they shared for each other is truly beautiful. They were each others best friend and had many plans during their retirement. Kris was a big family man and loved when his and Pattys family melted together. They hosted Christmas morning every year and loved when his entire was family was all together.Kris loved working on cars and was a truck mechanic for many years. He changed careers in the early 2000s and apprenticed as a plumber and pipe fitter. He loved his job and worked for Local 50 for 20 years. He worked very hard to provide for his family. He was a very respected employee and many looked up to him. Kris retired from UAW Local 50 plumbers and pipe fitters just this past May.Kris is proceeded in death by his father, Norman Lehmann. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lehmann. His loving mother, Peggy Lehmann. His daughters Rikki Lehmann, Alexis (Nate) Lane. Step-Children; Sabrina, Crystal, and John. Sister; Diane (Mike) Sorosiak. His 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.There will be no visitation or funeral arrangements. He was cremated and will be spread at his favorite places by his family. The family will host a celebration of life event. Date and time to be determined. And the only way to end this would be with a plenty good.
