Koneta Lee Fox

Koneta Lee Fox, 82, of Walbridge, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born in Walbridge to Jerome and Lottie (Fry) Fox on January 29, 1939. She worked for over 25 years as a nurse at Riverside Hospital and then worked over 10 years as a home health aide. Koneta was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Millbury. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and pressing her luck at the slot machines. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mark Stroll, Lee (Patti) Stroll, Connie (Chuck) Stroll, Karen Stroll, Amy Stroll; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; a step great-great-grandson; siblings, Barbara (Don) Winkler, Patrick (Sandy) Fox, Michael Fox; brother-in-law, Don Opblinger; and many other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Stroll; second husband, Gerald “Jerry” Fox; sisters, Joneal Opblinger, Marie Cedarleaf, Frances Fox; and great-grandson, Zane; and parents. Friends will be received on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH 43465 (419-666-3121). A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial donations in Koneta’s name may be made to Otterbein or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
