Keith D. Cooper, 69, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on Monday January 13, 2025, with the love of his life and wife Mary Cooper (Seiler) waiting for him to join her in Heaven since 2017. Keith was born November 11,1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Ardith Cooper.
A 1974 graduate of Macomber Whitney, starting as a CAD Designer and advancing to a Project Manager, Keith spent his career working mostly in the glass furnace industry before retiring from SSOE Group in 2015 to spend time with his wife before her passing.
A lover of music and drumming, Keith enjoyed being a member of the Christian Rock band Jubilation, playing concerts at churches and venues around the Midwest in his younger years. A drummer at heart, he’d frequently keep the beat of music on tables and with a tap of his foot. Music was commonly playing around the house and outside.
Keith was a faithful Christian and member of Mainstreet Church where he had been involved in many small groups over the years. An avid motorcycle lover, Keith really enjoyed his time as a part of the Iron Man Ministries Group. Keith’s belief in God and his service to others (both friends and those in need) was an important part of his life. Second only to his faithfulness in God; Keith was a fully devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family meant everything to him.
Keith married the love of his life, Mary, on October 29, 1976, and stayed devoted to her until he joined her in heaven. Keith is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Gary Cooper. Keith’s memory will live on through his children Nancy (Chad) Thomas, Kevin (Alexis) Cooper; grandchildren Caleb and Carys Thomas, Parker and Emma Cooper; his brother Terry (Harriet) Cooper; nieces and nephew; and his beloved dog, Walter.
Services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Mainstreet Church (5465 Moline Martin Rd. Walbridge, OH). Visitation will be held from 11am until 12pm to pay respects and visit with family. Services will start at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, an organization that provided Keith and his family with comfort and peace in his final days.
