Kedra Young

Kedra Young was born to the union of Yvonne Stevens and Melvin Young on May 18 1968. We know that she lived every moment of her life to the fullest until the day our Lord called her home. She attended Woodward High School and was loved by her Woodward/Hamilton family which she proudly represented. Kedra was a die hard Dallas Cowboy and Ohio State fan. She treated every game like the Super Bowl. Kedra had a strong love of the Lord and accepted Him at a very young age. She also remained deeply rooted in the love of family. You did not have to be related by blood for her to call you family. No one ever left her presence without a smile and a hug.Kedra worked at LIBBEY Glass for 18 years and enjoyed her work. You couldnt find a stronger work ethic than hers. She was dedicated and found pride in her diligence and reliability to her job and coworkers. She was preceded in death by both parents and her sister Leslie many aunts and uncles. We rest knowing she was welcomed into the Kingdom by many. She leaves to treasure her memories; brother Kipp (Kathie) Stevens, sons Dorian(Kayla) Phillips and Zachary Rhynes, nephews Tavon (Cabria) Patterson and Kipp Stevens Jr, granddaughter Khyler Phillips, great niece Kayden Stevens, goddaughter Ariana(Dornae) Higgs and special friend Delbert Johnson lots of honorary grandkids, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters, The Crew Cheryl, Angela and Valerie her friends for over 40 years and countless friends and relatives whose lives were touched by this beautiful queen.
