Kay L. Franklin, age 77 of Toledo, OH, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Majestic Care of Toledo. She was born January 2, 1946 in Toledo, OH to Mr. & Mrs. John E. (Modesta Bouroff ) Clapp. She was a member of UAW Local 12 and retired from Chrysler/Jeep. She was an avid Michigan fan; loved dogs, ceramics and line dancing. She loved to learn and experience new things.Survived by her sons, Kirk (Hailey) Franklin, Josh (Rose) Franklin and Chad (Elena) Franklin; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy) King, Ashley Franklin, Oceana Burden, Ethonn, Jasmine, Destiny, Gabriel and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Renee, Jacob, Ashton, Landon and Tanner; great-great on the way; sister, Betty Kinker; brother Tom (Doris) Clapp. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Paul, John, Shirley, Rick and Pat.Friends will be received on Thursday, November 9th from 2-7 P.M. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis, 419-269-1111) where Services will be held on Friday, November 10th at 1 P.M.
