Kathleen Gaytan

Kathleen May Gaytan, age 73, of Toledo, OH passed away December 2, 2021, surrounded by family at St. Anne Hospital. Kathleen was born December 23, 1947, in Toledo, OH to her father Leroy Matz and mother Kate Matz. She was a graduate of Whitmer High School where she cultivated her love of dancing. She was married to her late husband, Paul Gaytan, for more than 40 years. Kathleen was a generous, sincere and caring person, always going out of her way to help others. She had many joys throughout her life but towards the end, nothing brought her more joy than her feline companion, Hannah. Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Kristeena Gaytan and spouse Michael Edwards; son, Paul Gaytan and partner Christine Cleary, as well as her son Ian Hickman; son, Keith Gaytan; grandchildren, Paul Gaytan-Anderson, Owen Edwards, Breyanna Baker, Kimberly Strunk, Keith Gaytan II, KC Martin, Kelsey Gaytan and Kristeena Gaytan; as well as her many great grandchildren and friends and family made along the way. She is greatly loved and will be missed dearly by her family. There will be no service held as per her wishes
