Karen L. Davis

Karen Louanne KK Davis, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010. She was born in East Cleveland, Ohio on May 12, 1942 to Elroy and Doris Streit.Karen was a 1960 graduate of Rossford High School. She was employed at Toledo Hospital for more then 30 years. Karen was a member of the Laryngectomy Club of Toledo and Moose Lodge #1579. She enjoyed reading, kayaking, crafting, traveling. Her love of family and friends was always time well spent.Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Elroy and Doris Streit. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Steven K. Davis, children, Cynthia (Paul) Campbell, Lisa (John Zinn) Freer, Jon (Kellie) Stewart, Trafton (Kristi) Davis, siblings Susan (Shel) Sanger, Jill (Mike) Dermer, Jack (Evie) Streit, in-laws, Joe (Lynn) Hartley, 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews .Visitation for Karen will be held at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, Ohio 43613, (at Alexis) on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be that same day at 7:00 pm.
