Judith W. Couture

Judith Judy Winchell Couture Judith Judy W. Couture, 82, of Waterville, Ohio, formerly Toledo, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2017 at Heartland of Waterville. She was born on July 19, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wayne and Julia (Neptune) Carter. Judy was a graduate of Scott High School in Toledo. After attending college and earning a banking degree she was employed for over 30 years, before retiring from Toledo Trust Corporation, now Key Bank. Judy volunteered her time campaigning for the Republican Party and was always present for voting day. She loved cats and effectively turned her family in to crazy cat people. Judy was also an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, camping; Judy played in a womens golf league until she couldnt play any longer and she kept her Toledo Blade subscription for 52 years. She is survived by her loving son, Todd (Julie) Parke; granddaughters, Jenifer (Chris) Rune and Megan (Kyle Carson) Parke; one great granddaughter on the way; nieces, Barbara Houston, Kimberly Bennett and Caroline Bennett. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sally Carter-Bennett. Her first husband Norman Parke passed away in 1971. To honor Judys wishes services will be private.
