Joy Ann Acors

Joy Ann Acors, age 82, of Toledo, died April 1, 2025 at UTMC. She was born March 11, 1943 in Fremont, OH to Mr. Mrs. George F. (May Libby Gale) Rosenberger. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School and Maumee Valley (nursing school) She was an avid traveler, having traveled all over the world; a master gardener and loved photography, her cats and her CD and record collection. She worked as a nurse for 35 years at Maumee Valley Hospital and retired from St. Luke’s Hospital.

A social butterfly, she loved going to symphonies and Broadway shows – she “was always doing something”.

Survived by her husband, James, whom she married January 31, 1971; children, Jennifer (Paul) Weist, Jeff Acors, Connie (Mark) Coutcher, James (Brenda) Acors and Judy Al Smadi; numerous grandkids; great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.

Friends will be received on Monday April 7, 2025 at the Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise and Cremations and Funerals, Holland (7438 Airport Hwy.) from 10:30 A.M. until the time of Services at 12;30 P.M. Burial will be private for the family at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo.
