Joshua David Woerner

Dec 31, 1985 — Sep 25, 2026

Joshua "Josh" David Woerner, 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2026.

Born on December 31, 1985, in Scottsdale, Arizona, Josh later made Point Place (Toledo, Ohio) his home.

Josh was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Lee Woerner and Linda "Lin" Sue Keller.

After high school, Josh worked as a tree arborist alongside his brother, a profession he continued throughout his life. On September 8, 2007, he married the love of his life, Brandy Rose Ramon. Together they built a life centered on love, loyalty, laughter, friendship and the simple comforts of home.

Although Josh and Brandy had no children, they shared their lives with their beloved dogs, Bella, Daisy, and Beau, who were family in every sense of the word. Bella and Daisy preceded Josh in death, while Beau remains a treasured companion.

Josh was happiest spending time at home with Brandy, whether relaxing in front of the television, working on projects in the garage or backyard, or simply enjoying a quiet day at home. An avid fisherman, he found peace at two of his favorite fishing spots: the Summit Street Bridge in Point Place and along Yedder Road in Port Clinton, where he could often be found casting a line and enjoying the outdoors he loved.

Josh will be lovingly, and forever remembered by his devoted wife of 19 years, Brandy Rose Woerner; his sister, Jill (Bill) Gorham, and their children, Jacob, Matthew, and Sara; his brother, Thomas "Tom" (Jennifer) Woerner, and their children, McKayla, Madison, and Laney; great-nephew, Titan; great-nieces, Venus, Ruby and Ella.

A celebration of Josh's life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully accepts contributions toward funeral expenses.
