Joseph Ameal Sullivan

JJoseph A. Sullivan was born on August 25, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio. He departed his life February 25th. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends living life to the fullest. He was a longtime lover of the latest suits and gators with the Dobb to match!

Jo loved emceeing church events! He would get so excited during the church's annual Men and Women's Day celebration. The idea of competing for the plaque for who raised the most money was so important and serious to him. Anybody that truly knew Joe knew he was serious about anything money! He had a passion like no one else could ever have when it came to the gift of conversation. He was a master spade and poker player, which was one of the highlights of his week when family would gather for game night. He also enjoyed a good soul food meal. Whenever he wasn't at Moma Bettys house enjoying a good meal, you could find him at J' Mae's Home cooking with a big plate of pigfeet and hot sauce He received his license to preach in 1991. He was always willing and ready to bring a message whenever he wasn't asked.

The wake will be from 11-12. The service for Joseph Joseph Sullivan will be held on March 7th 2026, at 12, at The Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Holland (7438 Airport Hwy.)
