Joseph Stanfa

Joseph Stanfa, age 88, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease.He attended Immaculate Conception (Darby) Grade school and Central Catholic High School. He married Lois Jameson on May 22, 1954, together they had four children. Joe had a passion for Notre Dame Irish Football, the Detroit Tigers and golf.Joe was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Dennis Stanfa; and half-brother, Robert Neumeyer; daughter, Diane Rice; son, Christopher Stanfa; and grandson, Nick Rice.Joe is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois; his children, Cathy (Dave) McGill, Mark (Diane) Stanfa; grandchildren, Julie (Chris) Carpenter, David (Crystal) Stanfa, Michelle (Jesse) Stanfa, Jacob (Janelle) Stanfa, Brian Stanfa, Kelsie Murray, Gina (Murray), Matt Rice,.Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 434 Western Ave., Toledo, OH. On Wednesday January 17, 2024 at 11 AM.
