John L Wiggins, Sr.

Mr. John L. Wiggins, Sr., was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 28, 1946 at Riverside Hospital to the union of Cornelius Sr., and Vinisher Wiggins. He passed peacefully at his home he shared with his granddaughter, Jessica Wiggins, on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Mr. Wiggins is proceeded in his passing by both his parents; brothers, Cornelius Jr., Willie, Eddie, and David Wiggins. John L. worshipped at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. A.L. Roach. He attended Scott High School and worked many years at Interlake Steel. Mr. Wiggins loved playing cards, and spending quality time with family and friends. Mr. Wiggins leaves to mourn his passing, brother, Keith Wiggins; sisters, Dorothy Wiggins, Elaine (Samuel) Garret and Renee E. Evans; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wiggins; sons, John L. Wiggins, Jr., Edward (Shevette) Spidell and Eric Spidell; daughter, Janeen R. Wiggins; and step-daughter, Lisa (Daron) Bester; grandchildren, Jessica, Jakia, Corey, LaVont and Christion Wiggins, Sierra and Sienna Bester, Deon, Mia, E'Shawn, Destin Dezier, Ella Spidell, Zion and Zaria Spidell; and his special friend, Nellie Wiggins.
