John Curtis White

John Curtis White (Big John) 50: passed on December 24, 2018. He was born to John M. White and Linda (Allen) Utley in Toledo, OH on June 25, 2018. He was raised in the North End by his Grandmother Mimia Allen, who he affectingly called The Bird. Curtis attended Woodward High school and ITT in Fort Wayne, IN, graduating with an Associate Degree in Tool and Die Design. He was a lover of Sci-fi and music, and an avid Steelers fan. He had many talents. He was a grill master extraordinaire, a great storyteller and jokester. He could put a smile on anyones face. He loved drag racing and especially enjoyed watching it in person with his brother Did. Curtis was baptized as a Jehovah Witness in November 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Willie Allen, Sr., his uncles, William Billy Allen Jr. and Michael Allen. He leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Janelle, Mimia Jenai, John Jr., and Jadin White. His grandmother Mimia Allen, his parents John M. White and Linda Utley. His siblings, Will Did White (Terrina) Sr., Lonacy (Azure) Utley, and Mimia Brandy Utley. Aunt, Norma Allen and his uncle, who was like a brother to him, Richard Allen. And a host of other family and friends.
