John T Roe

John 'Scott' Roe, age 49, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. He was born in Toledo on February 12, 1961 to Bobby and Betty Roe. Scott graduated from Southview High School. He loved spending time around water, especially the ocean. Scott was a big NASCAR fan. He participated in the restoration of a fire truck. Scott donated his time for the body work piece by piece as it was sent over. The truck is on display at the fire museum in Toledo. Scott was employed as an auto body mechanic for over 30 years, most recently at Brondes Ford. He was very proud of his 3 daughters, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Scott enjoyed Wednesday nights when all his friends meet at his house. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Roe and granddaughter, Corrine Baker. He is survived by his daughters, Ashley (Chris) Sulewski, Holly Roe, Rebecca Mackey, grandchildren, Jacob, Alana, Lynn Sulewski, Rickey Mackey, mother, Betty Roe, siblings, Sandi (Rick) Carter, Steve (Dianna) Roe, and Staci Manders, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for Scott will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Sunday, January 23 from 12:00 pm (noon) until time of funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm.
