John Darren Raker

John Darren Raker of Lambertville, Michigan passed away June 24 at the age of 51 after a 7-month battle with cancer. John was born June 19, 1967 to Jeanette and Jack Raker in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Bedford High School and was reported to always host the best parties, sometimes to the distress of his parents. He has worked the past 15 years as a tool and die maker for Dundee Manufacturing. He loved fishing, NASCAR, and a good beer, and could be found most weekends out on the boat with his family. He is survived by his wife Debbie, and his children and stepchildren: Lindsey (Derrik); of Westmont IL, Darren, Jacob, and Maggie; of Lambertville, Shaun Worden; of Luna Pier, Johnny Treadway (Samaria); of Temperance, and Samantha Greenlee (nee Treadway) (Cory); of Anderson, IN, and 10 grandchildren. A service will be held Thursday, June 28 at 4:30pm at Compelled Church in Temperance, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send beer.
