Joey L. Marshall

Joey was born in Chicago, IL on May 31, 1970 to Marsha Marshall and Alfred Marshall, Sr. After his parents divorce, he grew up going to school in Milwaukee, WI. He obtained his GED from Job Corp (Edinburgh, IN) in 1987.Joey moved to Toledo in 2004, where he worked and met his best friend, Rodgerick, and his mother, Fannie, who Joey affectionately called "Ma." They became his new family that cared and loved him until he passed away.He will be remembered as a very strong-willed, stubborn, yet independent person. I will miss his laugh, he had a very unique laugh. Joey was preceded in death by his grandparents; mom, Marsha L. Marshall; and dad, Alfred J. Marshall, Sr. He leaves behind his daughter, Twalavette; sister, Tawana; brothers, Alfred Jr and Javon Marshall; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and his two grandchildren.
