Joanne K. Freels

Joanne K. Freels age 79, of Sylvania, Ohio died February 6, 2012 at Flower Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Joanne was born in Toledo on November 8, 1932. Her greatest passion in life was spending time with her family. Joanne is survived by her husband, Merideth Red Freels; children, Marcia Lewis, Susan Beaver and Jonathan (Dona) Freels; grandchildren, Amy Coykendall, Corey Lewis, Kevin Beaver, Courtney Freels, Katelyn Freels and Adrienne Beaver; 7 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Sheri Bord and Robin Ballmer. Visitation for Joanne will be at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home (419-473-1301) Thursday, February 9 from 2 PM-8 PM. Funeral services will begin Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Joanne are asked to be made to American Cancer Society.
