Joan M. Vollmar

Joan M. Vollmar, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 with her loving family by her side at her home. She was born in Fremont, Ohio on June 3, 1940. Joan was employed for many years at Jac Products before retiring in 2006. She loved crocheting and knitting, making many afghans and doll clothes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lois Weible and Catherine and Eddie Myler, husband, Fritz Vollmar and sister, Janette Wyss. Joan is survived by her devoted sons, Ron Vollmar and Don Vollmar, grandchildren, Lindsay and Jesse, loving siblings, Mary Merritt, LeRoy Weible, Butch (Bonnie) Weible, Barb Cook, Tina Lee and several nieces and nephews. To honor Joans wishes, there will not be any visitation. Everyone is invited for A Celebration of Joans life at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery (at Swan Lake) on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 am.
