Joan M. Eubank

Joan M. Eubank, age 92, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2022. She was born to William and Isabel Schwanbeck on August 6, 1929. She married Boyd in 1948 and they were together nearly 60 years until his death in 2008.

Joan was a life-time member and volunteer of Zion Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio. She was a strong woman of faith and loved traditional hymns. She retired from working at the information desk at The Toledo Hospital in 1994. Joan especially enjoyed reading and fishing on the boat with her husband.

Joan is survived by her loving sons: Dale (Lindy), Mark (Kathy) and Dean; daughters-in-law Cheryl and Allison; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Don Schwanbeck and his wife, Jo, as well as her “Church family” who also gave her love and support.

Preceding Joan in death were her parents, husband, and son Kirk.

Visitation will be held at the Holland-Springfield-Walker funeral home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 10am-1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm officiated by Pastor Peter Hagen. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
