Jimmie Dale Crosser Jr.

August 31, 1966 — November 13, 2025

Jimmie Dale Crosser Jr., 59, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully with music in his ears and loved ones by his side.

Jimmie was a loving grandfather, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His passions included music, concerts, family, and friends. He was the life of the party and was always laughing and joking around. He consistently sought to make others laugh by saying something funny. Jimmie worked several jobs throughout his life, including driving for different companies, which he loved. Jimmie was a very loving and thoughtful person who adored people. He was affectionately called the "Candyman," because he always bought everyone their favorite candy.

Jimmie was very creative and had his own unique style, expressing himself through his hair, clothing, jewelry, and even painted fingernails. He was an artist, mostly producing abstract art pieces that he enjoyed sharing with family and friends.

Jimmie will be missed very dearly by so many people, including his longtime girlfriend, Cheryl Longenecker; his son, Devin James Crosser; his sisters and brothers: Dana (Jon Tomes), Jean Roberts, William Roberts (Giulia), Nancy Sawyer (Rick), and Kerrie Ritchie; his nieces and nephews: Andrew, Eli (Onna), Sophia, Lydia, Mallory, and many more; and his granddaughters, his "Angel Babies," Vera Crosser and Haven Crosser, whom he adored. Jimmie will also be missed by his former wife, Laura Cadarette, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, as well as his cat Chloe, who he was crazy about.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Bengela; his mother, Barbara Bengela Roberts; and his brother, Christopher.

The service and funeral will be private for immediate family only. A celebration of life, where all family and friends are welcome, is to be announced for a later date.
