With deep love and heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Jerri Cadle Stickler, who joined her beloved family in heaven on November 6, 2024. She was born in Grassy Meadows, West Virginia, to Cecil and Geneva Cadle. Her journey led her to her cherished husband, Lacy Stickler, and in a final, beautiful moment, they reunited on “The Far Side Banks of Jordan.”
Known for her gentle strength, Jerri radiated kindness and warmth, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her life was a testament to unwavering love and compassion, deeply rooted in faith and steadfast devotion to family. Her home was a haven where laughter and joy filled the rooms, offering comfort to all who visited. If heaven has a nursery, you’ll find her there, gently rocking babies with a warm smile, showering them with endless love and adoration.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her seven children—Traci (Steve), Terri (Bob), Jeffrey (Jodi), Tanya, Tamra (Ken), Tara (Vernon), Caitlin (Ely); as a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, her ever-growing family was her greatest joy. Jerri was blessed to be one of 17 children. She will also be missed by the many nieces, nephews, and friends she has touched.
Though her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, we find solace knowing she is at peace, embraced by loved ones who went before her and watching over us with her enduring spirit. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Lacy Stickler, her parents Cecil and Geneva Cadle, five siblings: Helen, Regina, Marvin, Cecil, and Gary Cadle, son in law Wally Estel, granddaughter Alyssa Sauceda, and great-grandson Santino Sauceda.
