Jennifer Lynn Vasquez passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 11, 2022, at the age of 37. She was a giver her whole life. If there was one word that would describe her, it would be caring.
Jennifer was born to her parents, Robert Riedel and Karri (Cohrs) Danner on April 26, 1985, at Toledo Hospital. Everywhere Jen landed, she made new friends. Some of her closest relationships were formed in grade school and continued through high school, and beyond. She graduated from Eastwood High School in 2003. She met her future husband Robert, and they connected over the common interest of drawing and painting with watercolor. Jen and Bob married on June, 16, 2007, and shared 15 years together. She was a bank teller until they had children, and then she devoted her life to being at home to care for her family.
Jennifer had a few passions that helped her through the difficult days including crocheting items to bless others, cooking delicious meals, and making amazing baked goods. Her love of food brought comfort to herself and others. She also loved spending time outdoors, taking walks at the park and marveling at nature. Harry Potter books and movies fed her creative mind and helped her travel to far away places in her imagination.
Jennifer’s life touched so many people and she will never be forgotten. Those that will continue to keep her legacy alive are her husband, Robert Vasquez; children Sean and Rylee Vasquez; parents Robert Riedel (Sharon Riedel) and Karri Danner; grandparents Dale and Eldor Cohrs; brother Andrew Riedel (fiance Chelsea Amerson); and countless family and friends.
Jennifer is preceded by her grandparents, Ned and Eleanor Riedel; stepfather Scott Danner.
The family suggests a gift in lieu of flowers to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A gathering to celebrate the life of Jennifer will be announced at a later date.
