Jeffrey D Chapman

Jeffrey Chapman, age 73, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2026.

Jeffrey was born on July 5, 1952 and was a truck driver for over 40 years. He loved traveling and meeting new people. He loved finding new restaurants on his travels. He enjoyed boating, riding his Harley, cooking on the grill for family get togethers. His burgers were the best. In his younger days he was a great water skier. He also enjoyed camping for many years.

Jeffrey is Preceded in death by his parents, William and Leila Chapman; sister, Nancy Chapman; and son, Justin Chapman.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Helen (Boo Boo) Chapman; sons, Ryan (Amy) Chapman, Steve (Gretchen) Lutes; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Klavinger; sister-in-law, Pamela Miller; grandchildren, Charlotte Chapman, Ava Chapman, Karson Chapman, Abby (Sam) Lutes, Callie (Drew) Klavinger, Holly Klavinger, Carter (Kayla) Lutes, Ashlyn Lutes, Alyson Lutes; great grandchildren, Wesson Carter Lutes and soon to be, Abel Douglas Lutes.

Per Jeffrey's wishes, there will be no service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Bay Park Hospital and Toledo Hospital for all their care and love towards Jeff.
