Jeanne M. Bethel

Jeanne M. Bethel, 73, of Holland, OH passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her home. She was born on October 17, 1946 in Holland to Edward and Evelyn (Nachtrab) Glowski and she married her high school sweetheart, James R. Bethel on March 18, 1967. Jeanne loved to read, especially murder mysteries, and had been working towards her own personal library. She enjoyed cooking and was often found experimenting and playing with new recipes. Jeanne also enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach. She was always one to look after others. Even with her own struggles, she took care of her husband, Jim, while he was under Hospice care in their home. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and compassion to those in need. Jeanne is survived by her loving sons, Matt (Becky) Bethel and Dean Cable; daughter, Lara Bethel; grandchildren, Benjamin and Luke Bethel; brother, Tom (Deb) Glowski; Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Timothy Glowski and Joan (Bud) Briggs. Friends will be received on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM in Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Burial will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
