Jayne F Sims

Jayne F. Sims, age 83, of Toledo, Ohio, departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was born to Roderick and Frances Johnson, on February 27, 1936, in Swanton, Ohio. Jayne was employed many years by the United States Postal Services as a supervisor. Jayne loved the Lord and her family, she is well known for her love for her family and friends as she :to do it with much grace. Jaynes favorite pastimes were taking her grandchildren shopping and going to restaurants and she loved the casino. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Harold (the late Rosalyn) Sims Jr.; Verbena (George) Bradford; Atonya Sims; and Belinda (Wilbur Sr.) Hill; brother George (Gloria) Johnson; Sisters Rhoda Johnson, Constance Anderson and Martha Thames. Fourteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 1163 Sylvania, Toledo, OH, 4-8pm. Followed by funeral services on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Mount Pilgrim Baptist church, 1401 Hoag St, Toledo, OH, 10-11am is the viewing and 11 am is the service and the burial afterwards we will be returning to church for food.
