Jayde Mishelle Roaden

February 27, 1996 — September 12, 2023

Jayde Mishelle Roaden, 27, of Toledo, lost her 6-year battle with addiction on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at her home in Toledo, Ohio. Jayde is no longer suffering, and we will rejoice that she is finally free from pain. Jayde's death will not be in vain, and we will celebrate and honor her life by remembering the good times and by bringing awareness to others who struggle with addiction. Jayde will be remembered for her huge smile that could light up any room, and her infectious laugh. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family. She will be remembered for her humor and strength. She will be remembered for her compassion towards others. Jayde had the most giving heart of anyone I know. If you knew Jayde, then you know that she loved to show off and be the center of attention. Jayde was always right and would always be ready to give you her expert advice. We have so many special memories of Jayde. She loved holidays, especially her birthday and Christmas. Once when she was a little girl everyone wrapped a cucumber for her on Christmas morning and that’s all she thought she was getting - she loved cucumbers. Jayde adored dogs, especially her dog Missy. During Jayde's younger years she could often be found at the ballpark where she was an avid softball player throughout high school. She was even picked to play on a boys’ baseball team. She played softball for Springfield Recreational league, Springfield High School, and for several other travel organizations in the Toledo area and she made many friends along the way.

Jayde is survived by her special dog, Missy; parents, Michael and Nicole Kleinhenz of North Carolina; siblings, Brendan (Brittany) Kleinhenz, Payten (Abby) Kleinhenz, Noah Kleinhenz, Savanna Kleinhenz, Jonah Kleinhenz and Madelyn Kleinhenz; father, Daniel Roaden of Missouri; special grandmother, “Blue” Denise Schifferly; grandfather, Edward (Nona) Kopp, great grandmother, Donna Pawlicki; and a host of other loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jordan Roaden, and many friends that have also lost their battle to addiction. If you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction, please reach out for help.
