Jared Michael Martens “Red Ranger”

Born on June 23, 1996 decided that December 16, 2022 was his day to stop his 6 year battle with cancer and other medical conditions.

Our Jarbear, the most unconditional, stubborn, loving, kindhearted soul you could ever meet! Whether you met him once or 1000 times, he impacted your heart for life! He was always making sure you were ok.

Through everything he went through, he always did it singing, dancing and staying positive through it all.

Jared loved his animated movies, Yugioh cards and UNO. He was obsessed with music, ranging from “I love you, you love me” to “Turn the page”.

Jared leaves behind his mom, Leslie; sister, Megan (Garrett); his “boys”, nephews, Troy and Kain; Aunt Patti (Uncle Frank) and children, Kane (Camryn) Xander and Lily; Aunt Kelly (Uncle Rob) and children, Clarissa and Kalley; Great Aunt Sandie, his UNO challenger; his Hailey; and his buddy, Michael. His father; Jason; Grandpa Don; Aunt Penny (Uncle Kenny); Aunt Lori; cousins, Moochie, Jessica and Dbo.

As well as many special people who dedicated their life to ensure quality life, Amy and her staff at Creative Living Service and Model School Staff! He is also survived by a host of Great Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Troy; Grandma Jan; Granny Grapes; Papa Lemle; Great Uncle Bob; cousins, Jennifer and Owen; Great Aunt Helen and other Uncles and Aunts, family and friends waiting to welcome him.

Thank you everyone who came in the path of Jared. To know him was to love him and with that “Team Jarbear” was developed creating prayer chains, and warriors to guide him on his journey.

A Special thank you to Aunt Patti who walked the path beside us from day one of the battle! Aunt Sandie who opened her home to help stabilize our life! Michael, our angel, who came in and helped ensure his quality of life that was left at the end.

Go with the flow and ride that wave home UNO KING. Mama is going to miss you! Hand upon my heart.
