Janis May Grantham

Janis May Grantham, 72, of Temperance, MI, died on Monday, March 4, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 27, 1946 in Toledo, OH to Stanley and Vera (Vore) Welch. Janis was a graduate of Whitmer High School. She had a passion for life and loved art, but her true joy in life were her grandchildren. They were her world. Janis will be remembered as being very generous and loving, especially when it came to her family. Janis is survived by her loving son, Eric G. Grantham; grandchildren, Alison J. Wilson and Dylan X. Grantham; brother, Jim Welch; nieces, Courtney Welch, Lindsey Welch, Barbie and Angie. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Carol. Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 11 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH, 43612. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donors choice.
