Janice Lynn Mick, 69, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital, in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on April 9, 1957, to Edgar P. Klar and Eunice Klar.
Janice was a truly loving and caring woman who had a heart bigger than words could ever describe. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back and never expect anything in return. She loved deeply, cared endlessly, and was always there for the people she loved. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many, and she will forever be remembered as someone who made the world a little brighter simply by being in it.
Janice attended Springfield High School and spent much of her working life in Medical billing. She was previously a cheerleading advisor for the Navarre Colts. She loved to travel and enjoyed making memories on trips, including visits to Cancun and Florida.
Above all else, Janice treasured her family. Her greatest joy was the people she loved, and she was always proud of her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and lessons that will continue to live on through her family.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mick; granddaughter, Caitlin Losoya; grandson’s, Jorden Mick, Skylar Marlow, Ethen Mick and Hunter Mick; brother, Raymond Hintz; along with extended family members, and countless friends, who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Eunice Klar; her son, Tommy Mick; her brothers, Wayne Klar and Richard Hintz; and her former spouse, Paul Mick.
Janice’s absence will leave an emptiness in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. While her family will miss her more than words can express, they can find comfort knowing that her love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will live on in each person she touched.
She was an angel here on Earth, and although she is no longer by our side, her love will remain with us forever. Janice will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. ❤️
A Memorial Gather will will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 pm, at the Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, 7438 Airport HWY, Holland, Ohio, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 pm.
