Janette Blesing

Janette "Jan" Ann Blesing (Rutschow), age 81, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 29, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Vern and Hazel Rutschow. She graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1961.Jan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love knew no limits. Her life was a tapestry of love, woven with threads of family and creativity. Her passion for crafts knew no bounds, as she poured her heart into every creation, infusing each piece with love and meaning. From sewing to handmade cards, her artistry brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to receive her handmade treasures.But perhaps Jan's greatest masterpiece was her family. She took immense pride in her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, showering her loved ones with unconditional love and unwavering support. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, where memories were made and traditions cherished.Jan leaves behind the love of her life and husband of 59 years, Don Blesing; children, Brad Blesing (Chris Floyd) and Kim Blesing (Dan Romine); grandchildren, Kevin Blesing, Megan Floyd, Kara Floyd and Chloe Romine; great-grandchild, Leighton Willard, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beatrice Hughes.As per Jan's wishes, there will be no services held. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May Jan rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth she shared with the world.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jan's name to a charity of your choice.
