James Lowell Weaver

James Weaver, 80, passed away on March 2, 2026, to be with the lord. He was born on May 26, 1945, in Holland, Ohio, to Fred and Opal (Brietner) Weaver. He was the ninth of ten children.

Jim was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and uncle. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. He loved animals, the outdoors, and gardening. For over 50 Years, he worked at Neville Landscape, often saying he was blessed to have a job he truly loved.

He is survived by his two daughters, Emily (David) Vandergrift, and Carrie (Brad) Spangler; six grandchildren, with one great-grandchild expected this coming July. He was also a cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Fred, Clyde, Robert, Oliver, Donnie, and Jerry; and his sisters, Earlene Benson, Judith Luke, and Bonnie Grant.

Jims life was marked by faith, hard work, and a deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm in the Ray Neville Chapel of Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Holland, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with burial to take place at Springfield Twp. Cemetery.
