James W. Lee

James W. Lee, 81 was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 21,1943. He was born to the late Clarence R. Lee and the late Bessie Lee Krauzer. He went to be with our Lord on August 15, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. He attended Devilbiss High School. Straight out of high school he started at Jeep in the press shop. He stayed at Jeep for 38 years before retiring. Jim was known for his passion of specialty cars, especially his own, which included his beloved Viper and Prowler. Jim enjoyed taking his mother to Las Vegas for many years for Christmas. He loved to travel to Florida and Montana to visit his sisters. From a young age Jim also enjoyed car racing. By definition Jim was a thrill seeker, if it went fast Jim loved it. It didnt matter if it was on land or water. For the past 4 1/2 years his sister Cindy and husband Alfre took care of him in their home. Along with the help of his special nieces, Heather Warnick and Aimee. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his sister Linda Lee Beardsley. His two special nephews, Lou Fligor and Robert Fligor.He is survived by his brother, Robert Kenny Lee and sisters, Donna Fligor, Cindy Keller husband Alfre Canas. He is also survived by lots of nieces and nephews. Pall bears are his brother in law Alfre Canas, nephew Rodney Haas, great nephews Ryan Haas, Robert Tye Fligor, Larry Patterson, along with family member Jeff Haas.Friends will be received on Thursday August 29, 2024 from 2-8 P.M. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis 419-269-1111, where Services will be held on Friday August 30, 2024 at 11 A.M.
