James Jackson Hoskins, age 89, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Father of James (Denise) Hoskins of Loveland, Ohio; grandfather of Matthew Hoskins of Cincinnati and Carene Hoskins of Chicago. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was born on January 31, 1922 to Thomas and Bertha Hoskins in Duffy, Ohio. Jim was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters and his loving wife, Marcella M. (Rawlins) Hoskins. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Jim moved in the late 1940s to Toledo where he lived the rest of his years. He was employed for A&P and Wonder Bakeries before working for Northeast Theatre Corporation, retiring in 1984. He loved to hunt, fish, and putter around in his garage. At Jims request, his body will be cremated and there will be no memorial service at this time. His family has requested if a memorial gift is desired, that it be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 800 S. Detroit Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43609.
