James E. Holtmann, Sr.

James E. Holtmann Sr. 1939-2025

James Holtmann Sr. passed away at his home on February 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 18, 1939. He attended McDermott High School. He retired from All American Coach after 22 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Inez. Children, Tina (Robert), Debbie (David) and Jim Jr. (Kristie). Six grandchildren, Chauna, Brandon Sr., Jennifer, Rebekah, Shane Cameron, Hannah, and Sophie. Great Grandchildren, Brandon Jr, Laray, Bryson, Kobie, Haylie, Emiley, Lilly, Maggie, Luke, Grace, Bella, Rose, Jaxon, and Gavin. Brothers-in-laws, George (Sue), Conley (Phyllis), Eugene (Mittie). Sister-in-laws, Helen (Larry) and Jo (James) He will be truly missed by his family and his best furry friend, Clyde.

Friends will be received on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 6-8 PM at The Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Holland, 7438 Airport Hwy. (419-269-1111) , where Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM (where friends will be received after 10 AM) , officiated by Pastor Paul Lafontaine. Internment at Ottawa Hills Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
