James Jj Ashford, Jr.

James Ashford, Jr. JJ went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 21, 2016 at Laurels of Toledo at the age of 66. He was born in Drew, MS on September 19, 1949 to the Union of James and Ella R. Ashford. He was a devoted husband, brother and uncle. He attended Jessup W. Scott High School. He learned the auto mechanic trade and became the neighborhood mechanic and was known as an excellent auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by both parents; sister; brother; niece and nephew. He is survived by his wife Mary Kazmierczak; brother, Marvin Ashford; sisters, Betty (Mark) Finley, Beatrice Dixon, Darlene an Willia Ashford and a host of loving relatives and friends. Homegoing Service will be held on Friday at Noon, preceded by the Wake at 11 AM at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church (2340 N.
