James T. Anderson

James T. Anderson, 59, of Bowerston, OH, passed away on November 23, 2024. Born on August 11, 1965, in Warren, Michigan, to James and Janice Anderson, James was raised in Dexter, Michigan. He was a proud graduate of the University of Toledo, where he earned a Bachelor of Science followed by a Master of Criminal Justice.

James had a lifelong passion for learning and the pursuit of knowledge. He served as the General Manager of Mountain Jacks Steakhouse, where he was known for his dedication and leadership.

In his younger years, James enjoyed working out, repairing cars, and cooking. He had a deep love for reading, watching TV, and listening to rock and roll music. A devoted cat lover, James had many feline companions over the years. Above all, James cherished the time spent with his family.

James is survived by his mother, Janice Anderson; children, Jordyne (David) Anderson and Thomas (Abby) Anderson; stepchildren, Megan (Todd) Hoffman, Brynn (Adam) Westfall, and David (Tiffany) Donovan; 5 grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Jon (Stacey) Anderson; and former wife, Rebecca Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father, James Anderson and grandson, Evan Hoffman.

A private memorial service will be held to honor James's life. He will be laid to rest in Toledo Memorial Park.
