Jack Siler, Sr.

Jack Siler, Sr., age 95, of Delta, OH passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in his home with his family by his side.  Jack was born on July 2, 1927, in Jellico, TN to Sylvester Von Bloom and Josie Siler.

Jack was always friendly, outgoing, and loved to tell his hunting stories to anyone that would listen. Jack was an avid coon hunter and loved to do any small game hunting. He went to Kenton Nationals from the time it started and got his entire family to start going and enjoy it.

Jack met Cecilia Catherine Sarvo in Toledo, OH and they were married in 1947.

They had four children: Jack (Suzanne) Siler, Jr., Robert Lee (Karen) Siler, Linda Louise (Pete) Gibbs, and Daniel Allen (Melissa) Siler.  They were married 52 years and made so many wonderful memories together. They loved visiting Williamsburg, KY where Jack’s family lived. He had 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia, daughter, Linda, and two grandsons, Jack Siler III, and Brian Siler.
