Jack G Muir Fat Jack Buff Jack Muir passed away peacefully January 12th, 2016 at The Otterbein nursing home in Perrysburg, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 23, 1928 at the former Perrysburg Hospital to Emerson and Jeanette Muir. Jack was a life-long Perrysburger and a proud, longstanding member of Tanglewood Golf course, where he was always the life of the party. Jack worked in automotive sales in the Toledo area for over 40 years, and after retirement, he could be found bartending weekend mornings at Fat Jacks in Perrysburg, a family owned bar and restaurant, which was named for his often used nick-name. Jack was well liked and known for his generosity, easy-going nature and infectious laughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Kathy Wyrick and Nancy Rogier. He is survived by his four children Mark (Cathy) Muir, Tim Muir, Scott (Laurie) Muir and Cris (John) White. He is also survived by his four grandchildren the love of his life, Chase (Kimmy) Muir, Josh Muir, Nick White and Connor White. Two great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Josie. Also a host of friends, including Jimmy, Keith and Bob, who will miss him very much. A private service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the great people at Otterbein, and especially Annette, for the love and good care they gave to Jack.
