Iris Mae Cremean

Iris M. Cremean, 74, of Walbridge, Ohio, died Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Bloomdale, Ohio on July 12, 1946, the daughter of Everett and Aurilla (Kemenah) Flowers. She married Jeffrey A. Cremean, in Walbridge, Ohio on February 25, 1967. Iris worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 34 years in a variety of roles, from rural carrier to administrative assistant to the Post Office Operations Manager. But family was always the most important part of her life, in every respect. She took great pride in caring for her grand and great grandchildren and they loved her for it. She tried to never miss a school or athletic activity. She was a consummate homemaker who loved taking care of everyone. Iris is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jeffrey; sons, Jeffrey W. (Shirley) Cremean and Andrew D. Cremean; grandchildren, Braden (Leslie) Ruch, Nicole (Brian) Buschmann and David (Danielle) Cremean; great-grandchildren, Tatum McQueary and Bryce, Paige & Caleb Ruch; brother, Gene (Shirley) Flowers; and sister, Helen (Richard) Lewis. Iris was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Violet Thaxton & Rose Flowers. There will be visitation for Iris from 4-8 PM, Friday, May 21, 2021 in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio 43465. Services will be private.
