Henrietta Barth Quick

Henrietta Barth Quick, age 97, a long time resident of Temperance, Michigan passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was born on March 28, 1920 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to William Sebastian and Sophia (Krol) Barth. She graduated from Ann Arbor High School, Class of '38. On August 7, 1942 she married Walter E. Quick in Ann Arbor, Michigan and they made their home in Toledo, Ohio where he owned and operated Quick Cleaners. In 1958 they moved their business to Temperance, Michigan. Walter passed away on February 15, 1991. She loved watching University of Michigan sports and the Detroit Tigers, she also enjoyed working on her family genealogy. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Sieler, of Lambertville, Michigan and Deborah Niemesh of Frankfort, Indiana. Three grandchildren, Kimberly Sieler of Texas, Karri Sieler of California and Gregory (Lindsey Holden) Niemesh of Oxford, Ohio. Great-grandson Maxwell Joseph Niemesh and several nieces and nephews. Along with Walter she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ronald Niemesh. She is the last surviving member of her brothers, Herschal, Harold (Jim) and William Barth, and sister Dorothy Poulos, all of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Funeral services will be private with no visitation. Arrangements made by Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby (419-473-1301) with interment in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
