Helen L Carros Wuertz

Helen L. Wuertz, age 72, passed away peacefully on December 3rd, 2011 at Holland Community Hospital in Holland, MI of a sudden illness surrounded by her family. Born in Davy, West Virginia on May 29, 1939, she was the daughter of Paul Sr. and Gladys M. Carros. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William R. Wuertz; son, William Bear Wuertz II; siblings, Paul Carros, George Carros and Genevieve Kunz. She is survived by her daughters, Diana (Rob) Nissen and Cindy Wuertz; grandsons, Nicholas Wuertz and Cooper and Kaiden Westrick; brother, Jim Carros; and many nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed country and bluegrass music and had a passion for her Tweety Bird collection. Visitation will be at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home 3219 Tremainsville Toledo, OH (419-473-1301) on Friday, December 9 from 5 PM-9 PM and Saturday, December 10 from 10 AM-12 PM with funeral services beginning at noon. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
