Helen M. Taylor

Helen M. Taylor age 80, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2010 at St. Annes Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1930 to Jacob and Frieda Schmidt. Helen was a past member of the Eagles. She loved to bowl, play cards, dancing, music, Bunco, fishing and gambling. She was a classy lady right down to leaving this world on the same day she entered it. Above all Helen enjoyed her friends and family. Helen was employed as a packer and selector with Owens Illinois in Toledo, Ohio and City of Industry, California for 37 years, retiring in 1992. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Frieda Schmidt, Former husband and companion, Robert Taylor, great grandchild, Marvin Poole III, siblings, Richard Schmidt, Ervin Schmidt, Johnny Schmidt, Frankie Schmidt, and Jackie Schmidt. Helen is survived by her loving children, twins Barbara Belville, and Robert Taylor II, grandchildren, Kristi Belville (Mark Pioterek), Marvin Poole (Brooke Showalter), Jacob Taylor, Robert (Yvette) Taylor III, and Tanya Taylor, great grandchildren, Miranda, Javar, Kaylee, Mackenize, Mia, Rylee, Marky, sisters, Alveria Garn, Lois Majchayck, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staffs at St. Annes hospital, the Lutheran Hills of Oregon and H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home for their help through this stage in life.
