Grace E. Zimmer Cureton

Grace E. Cureton, age 93, of Toledo, Ohio, gently passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 12, 1915 to Franz and Mabel (Crone) Zimmer.Grace was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. She worked at Dura Corporation as a press operator for many years. Grace loved to dance at her local senior center. Other hobbies included China paintings and numerous crafts.She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husbands Walter Murphy and Walter Cureton, siblings Joseph, Edward and Clyde Zimmer, Odessa Overy, Anna Myers, Agnes Jacobsen, Josephine Wilmoth. Grace is survived by her sisters Lillian Toth, Margaret (Charles) Clifton and Mildred (Joseph) Walasinski, stepson John Cureton, special nephew Kenny Snyder and 3 step-grandchildren.Visitation for Grace will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis), (419)473-1301 on February 15 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home with prayers recited at 9:15 AM to be followed with Mass of the Christian Burial at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo on February 16 at 10:00 AM. interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
