Georgia Joan (Foster) Hall was born into this life on Friday, October 13, 1948, to Merica Helen (Elmer) Foster and John Henry Foster. She was born into her eternal life in Heaven with Jesus on 6/10/22. She was preceded in earthly death by her parents, Great Aunt Mary, sister Wanda Bandy and brother Hank Foster. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband and life partner of over 50 years James Franklin Hall, Daughters Kimberley Jane Hall (Chris), Amy Jo Walker (Timothy), and Jamie Jenelle Hall, grandchildren Autumn Rose Baldwin (Noah) and Timothy James Walker, great grandchildren Foster Jay Baldwin, Harrison James Baldwin, and sister Jacqueline Foster (Roxanne).
Georgia was the victim of child abuse and found herself homeless as a young woman. Out of this experience was born her strong, compassionate, gentle, and charitable spirit. She often gave, even out of her own poverty to those who were the “least of these.” Besides being a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother, her beautiful spirit led her to a lifelong career as an STNA and then an LPN. She retired from the profession she loved because of failing health and would suffer for 20 long years with chronic illness and chronic pain, the last 6 1/2 requiring dialysis. She loved animals and became caretaker and mom to many that she adopted throughout her lifetime.
She looked forward to being reunited with each of her furry misfits in Heaven. Georgia did not want a funeral service. She will be cremated and her ashes scattered. Memorial Donations may be made in her name to any animal welfare agency, homeless shelter, or the National Kidney Foundation. The Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral home of Walbridge Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Davita Dialysis in Northwood, Dr. Afolabi and Liz NP, the staff of Genoa Retirement Village, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care. Rest easy in the arms of Jesus momma bear. Your eternal fountain of love touched many people on earth and will be celebrated in Heaven. Your race is done and you ran it well. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast (1 Peter 5:10). Until we meet again! God is good ALL of the time.
