Gary L. Osburn

Gary L. Osburn, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice. He was born in Alton, Illinois on March 7, 1936 to Elmer and Gladys Osburn. Gary married Maybelle Warner on October 5, 1957. He was employed as a civil engineer with Owens-Illinois for 46 years, followed by many happy retirement years enjoying family, especially his grandchildren. Gary was an avid collector and hobbyist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Gladys Osburn and his siblings, Connie Pelzer, Shelia Pruett and Carl Osburn. Gary is survived by his wife, Maybelle Osburn, children, Deanna (Andrew) Mlynarczyk, Denise (Jeff Pirolli) Osburn, Douglas (Julia) Osburn, grandchildren, Gregory (Katherine), Tom (Khloe), Christian, Kara, Nicholas, Edmund, Samuel, Beverly. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28 at St Michael Lutheran Church, 5790 W. Temperance Rd, Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to St Michael Lutheran Church or to Lutheran Social Services NWO Food Pantry, 2149 Collingwood, Toledo, Ohio 43620.
